"Serving Agriculture Since 1962"
From its inception in 1962 through the present, Logan Agri-Service,
Inc. has demonstrated its commitment to serve agriculture. Logan Ag provides
petroleum products, crop protection chemicals, fertilizer, seed and custom
application to producers throughout western Illinois. Logan Ag is proud
to recommend renewable fuels utilizing ethanol and soy biodiesel to benefit
the environment, reduce our dependence upon foreign oil, and increase profits
of its customers.
In 2001, Logan Agri-Service revolutionized the petroleum business in western
Illinois with availability of biodiesel for off-road use. Today, biodiesel
accounts for more than 95% of all off-road diesel sales. Additionally,
Logan Agri-Service became the first marketer in western Illinois offering
E85 ethanol blend for Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFV) at the Griggsville 24/7
fuel location. Logan Ag proudly supports the renewable fuels industry,
and demonstrated its commitment to renewable fuels and agriculture by contributing
$5000 to the Westem Illinois Ethanol Project for its initial feasibility
study to bring a 50 million gallon ethanol production plant to western
Illinois. Company Vice President Edward Logan is a member of the Steering
Committee for WIEP.

With on-site storage for nearly 30,000 gallons bulk herbicides, 1200 tons
dry fertilizer, approximately 500 tons liquid fertilizer and 250 tons anhydrous
