Logan Agri-Service, Inc., headquartered in Griggsville, IL, is a family owned and operated supplier of agricultural crop inputs. James Logan began the business in 1962 as a commissioned agent for Standard Oil Company, serving farms, homes, and businesses in northern Pike County, IL with petroleum products.  Logan, along with his wife Betty, initially operated the business from their home.  The company expanded its product lineup to include crop protection chemicals and custom application in the mid-1960’s and further expanded in the early 1970’s to include fertilizer sales and application.  Current company president and second generation owner, Edward Logan, joined the business in 1978, providing vision for further expansion. Under his leadership, the company constructed its first retail facility on IL Route 107 south of Griggsville in 1988.  Following numerous building projects, the Griggsville facility is the site of the Petroleum Distribution Center and 24/7 Fuel dispensers, as well as office space, dry fe rtilizer an d anhydrous ammonia storage, 135,000-gallon bulk herbicide tank farm, more than one acre of environmentally protected chemical and seed storage, seed treatment system, and more.  Now in its seventh decade of operation, Logan Agri-Service owns or operates retail facilities in Griggsville, Winchester, Bowen, and O’Fallon, IL, Wayland, Monticello, Knox City, and Paris, MO, and Pitsburg, OH.  Through partnerships with sales associates in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, Logan Agri-Service supplies crop protection chemicals and fertilizers to producers throughout the Midwest.  The Logan AGRI-YIELD™ lineup of micronutrients and spray adjuvants was launched in 2017 with the introduction of PREMIUM FOLIAR,  a blend of seven nutrients designed to aid plant development and reduce crop stress.  The positive reception of this product by growers fostered expansion of the lineup. Today, the AGRI-YIELD™ brand, driven by growers’ needs, includes a diverse portfolio of nutritional products and multi-functional spray adjuvants, and is known for quality formulations, and yield enhancing performance in the field.
